The Dubai Fountain

Very disappointing experience. We arrived on time and waited for several hours. Only afterwards were we informed that the Dubai Fountain has been under maintenance for a long time and that all boat tours have been cancelled until after the New Year. This information was not communicated before booking, even though the activity was clearly not operating. As a result, we lost almost half a day of our holiday. I strongly recommend checking in advance whether the tour is actually running before booking.
